HOW DOES A PERSON BECOME A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH? |
| The actions mentioned above -faith, repentance, confession, and baptism by immersion in water that cause a person to be saved also makes that person a part of the church of Jesus Christ, as those in the first century A.D. (Acts 2:38-47; Acts 11:19-26). It is then a matter of affiliating locally with those who have done the same (Acts 9:26-27). |
