WHY DO YOU TEACH WATER BAPTISM IS NECESSARY FOR SALVATION? |
| Do you think water will save a person?"-We teach the necessity of water baptism by immersion for salvation only because the New Testament teaches it. You may want to read Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:1-8, Colossians 2:12, to appreciate the place of baptism in the plan of salvation. Water doesn't save, but obeying Jesus does when by faith in Him as the Son of God, a person repents of sin, confesses faith in Him as the Son of God, and is baptized (I Peter 3:21). |
